Police said four people were shot inside a Brooklyn bar in East New York early Sunday morning.
According to law enforcement sources, the incident unfolded just after 5 a.m. on March 8 inside Richard’s Restaurant and Bar, located on 94th Street and Avenue L, when cops say they received 911 calls reporting that multiple people had been shot.
Upon arrival, responding officers from thediscovered a 43-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg, a 44-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg, and a second 44-year-old man with a bullet wound to the arm. Upon further investigation, police also learned that a 38-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.According to police sources, the incident unfolded just after 5 a.m. inside of Richard’s Restaurant and Bar, located on 94th Street and Avenue L.EMS responded and rushed the 43-year-old woman to Kings County Hospital, while the two 44-year-old men were taken to Brookdale Hospital. Meanwhile, the 38-year-old woman made her own way to Brookdale Hospital. All those wounded were listed in stable condition and are expected to survive.It appeared the shooting originated outside, with the gunman aiming into the bar. Several shell casings could be observed on the street with bullet holes visible in the window.
