Michael Bay's career has been defined by blockbusters. After graduating from Wesleyan University in 1986 with a degree in Film and English, he began his directing career through a series of music videos throughout the late 1980s. This included music videos for artists such as Richard Marks, Donny Osmond, Chicago, and Styx. After nearly a decade of consistent music video direction, Bay would go on to make his feature film debut with Bad Boys in 1995.
4 Transformers Movies Are Leaving Netflix And They Only Recently Arrived On Netflix Close ✕ Remove Ads Four of the Transformers movies are set to leave Netflix in just a few weeks. Bay directed the first Transformers movie in 2007. It made an impressive $709.7 million worldwide, profiting off its estimated $150 million budget. This box office total was good enough to allow Bay to make a sequel pretty immediately, coming out with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in 2009.
Posts In an unfortunate turn for Transformers fans, What's On Netflix confirms that multiple Transformers movies will be leaving Netflix soon. These films are Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and Transformers: Age of Extinction. These titles were all added to Netflix on December 1 but will be leaving the platform on January 1, 2025.
