Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said in a Facebook post the teens were armed and fired a"substantial" number of shots as they were being chased on foot through a neighborhood near Zarzamora and Buena Vista streets. Salazar said no injuries were reported and a nearby SAISD school had been put on lockdown as a precautionary measure.
The incident began around 2 p.m. when deputies from the agency’s Gang Unit and Street Crimes were patrolling and tried to stop a Kia that had been reported stolen.Three of the suspects were quickly captured. K-9 and SWAT units were called and helped find the fourth suspect inside a shed in the backyard of a nearby house.
