Four people were found dead inside a Pierce County home near Puyallup as deputies were conducting a welfare check Tuesday morning.

Deputies found a man and woman dead after responding to a home on Eastwood Avenue East for a welfare check around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. When they got a warrant to search the rest of the home, they discovered two more adults dead, according to Dep. Carly Cappetto.
"We’re not looking for any suspects at this time. We don’t have anybody outstanding or any person of interest that we’re looking for, so we do feel the scene is contained to this home," Cappetto told KOMO News. This is expected to be an in-depth investigation involving forensics to piece together what led to the tragedy, as well as what injuries they may have sustained. The PCSO said it's too soon to know whether this could be a homicide, and the agency has ruled out carbon monoxide poisoning as a possible cause of death.
