Ketua Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Penawar Masri Ibrahim berkata pihaknya menerima panggilan kecemasan pada jam 2.19 petang. “Tebing saliran yang menjadi laluan utama keluar masuk ke tapak perkhemahan berkenaan runtuh akibat banjir sehingga menyebabkan aliran itu menjadi selebar 20 kaki sekali gus menutup laluan berkenaan menyukarkan kenderaan untuk keluar dari situ.
