He said 83 police Sergeants have been promoted to the Sergeant Major post, 44 with the rank of Sergeant Major became Sub Inspectors and 215 Corporals were made Sergeants recently.
“It is hoped that these promotions will encourage the state police to continue to serve with dedication,” he said during a special assembly held at the state police headquarters in Kepayan here yesterday.
