the fact that it can easily serve all of the functionality of an ottoman, small coffee table, tray, and storage unit makes it extremely useful when space comes at a premium. There are a lot of similar products, but the fact the top to this one reverses as a fully functional tray is what helped separate this from the rest. The mini ottoman/stool is a nice touch, but keeping it inside the ottoman itself eliminates the storage functionality of the product, so there is a bit of a trade off there. We've been able to stash it elsewhere and use it when needed, so it's actually a nice bonus.
