A man jailed in Johnson County for charges of child molestation and possession of child pornography stemming from incidents at a local Autism center was found dead in his cell Friday morning. Foul play is not suspected.
According to the office, corrections officers found an inmate unconscious in their cell around 9:30 a.m. on Friday.According to the Johnson County Coroner Mike Pruitt, the inmate was 31-year-old trans male Leomeir V. Kennedy of Vancouver, Washington.
According to court documents, Kennedy went to the Greenwood Police Department on April 10 and confessed to molesting three children.
