Liverpool was at its magnificent best to welcome Cunard's Queen Anne
Thousands of people turned out today at the Pier Head for the Cunard's Queen Anne naming ceremony in a magnificent musical celebration of the city and its maritime heritage.
People waited for hours along the Pier Head to watch the entertainment put on to celebrate the ceremony. In a packed day of celebrations, there were performances by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic OrchestraFormal proceedings for the ceremony concluded with a spine-tingling performance by Bocelli, including his iconic song 'Time to Say Goodbye'.
Craig kept the party going and everyone on their feet until the grand finale. The Queen Anne left at around 10.15pm.
