A dead humpback whale washed up on 'Whale Beach' in the Jersey Shore.
was reportedly 30 feet long and weighed about 20 tons.reports how the massive sea creature was already deceased when it was found on a beach in Strathmere on Saturday morning. Members from the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine were sent to clear the whale’s body, and were eventually forced to use a front end loader to roll the whale up the beach due to its size.
