Looking for something less mainstream to watch before March is over? Try titles like 'Bronson' starring Tom Hardy on Netflix and more
With less than two weeks remaining of March 2026, the new streaming additions for April will soon be making their way to platforms like Netflix, HBO Max and more. But before we celebrate the new additions, Watch With Us wants to take a look at some great movies already streaming.
So, if you're looking for something to watch before the end of the month, look no further than these three great movies.'Bronson' — HBO MaxEnglish prisoner Michael Peterson, AKA Charles Bronson , is considered to be Britain's most violent criminal. Bronson was first incarcerated for robbing a jewelry store and was sentenced to seven years in prison. But his actions while inside are what cause him to become so notorious, as he exhibits relentlessly savage behavior against the guards and his fellow inmates. His prison violence ends up extending his sentence by years and places him in solitary confinement, where he ends up spending most of his time. Still, Bronson reminds us that he's never actually killed anyone. Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn , Bronson has received praise for Hardy's leading performance in addition to the effective black comedy, action sequences, screenwriting and Refn's highly stylized direction. Hardy commands the screen in a truly transformative role, blending raw charisma, total physical commitment and believable menace. While brutally violent, the movie is also surprisingly funny, and its fourth-wall-breaking format blurs the lines between reality and myth-making.This sequel to 1993's El Mariachi brings Antonio Banderas back into the role of Mariachi, who seeks revenge on the powerful drug lord who killed his lover. With the help of his friend Buscemi and a beautiful bookstore owner named Carolina , Mariachi plunges headfirst into the brutal border underworld, following a blood-soaked trail to the infamous Bucho and his army of ruthless desperados. The supporting cast includes Danny Trejo and Quentin Tarantino. Though some might argue that Desperado features a little too much action and not enough storytelling, the action is far from boring. The aesthetic ambition and sheer excitement of the narrative sustain the movie from start to finish, in addition to Banderas' ever-charming performance as Mariachi. This gleefully violent neo-Western is a bloody good time, with constantly inventive set pieces and a distinct visual style.Insurance salesman Walter Neff becomes aligned with a murderous seductress named Phyllis Dietrichson . Phyllis devises a plot to kill her husband and rake in the insurance money, roping the lovesick Neff into her plan after he falls madly in love with her. Though Physllis' plan manages to succeed, things start to unspool when her late husband's daughter, Lola , becomes suspicious about her father's supposed 'accident.' Don't overlook this timeless Hollywood noir just because it's old and in black-and-white. We likely wouldn't have movies like Body Heat, Chinatown or L.A. Confidential without it. Even at over eighty years old, Double Indemnity is just as stylish, erotic and exciting — possibly more so — than many modern films. The engaging dialogue, terrific performances and a gripping central mystery allow Double Indemnity to reign as a staple of film noir.
