Florida Highway Patrol reported that a crash resulting in serious injuries occurred Sunday morning at the merger between I-95 and I-295.
At approximately midnight, a blue Toyota SUV was traveling south on I-95 at the north end of I-295, when it collided with the back of a black Dodge sedan, causing it to hit the guardrail.
The SUV continued forward after the initial collision and forced the sedan into the rear of another Toyota sedan. The driver of the SUV and the occupants of the Dodge sedan all sustained serious injuries and were transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
