Victor Wembanyama and Devin Vassell came up big Friday, but it wasn't enough to lift the San Antonio Spurs past the surging Minnesota Timberwolves
The Spurs lost their fourth game in a row Friday, falling 117-110 against Minnesota at the Frost Bank Center. The way coach Gregg Popovich saw it, this defeat was not like the others. “It was a totally different game than Indiana or New York,” Popovich said. For one, the Spurs at least showed up in the second half Friday. Earlier this week, the Spurs lost at the Pacers and Knicks by a combined 62 points. Before that, they blew a 22-point lead against Toronto to lose in overtime.
