The solo project centered around vocalist-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jason Singer that began in 2014 certainly deserves it.in 2022 that prevented his group from finishing a new album and hitting the road.
Singer and his touring band – touring musicians Jake LeMond , Connor Robertson and Cuyahoga Falls native Aaron Senor – return to the Grog Shop Saturday, November 9, with a new show and new material that promises to wow fans and newcomers alike.After a handful of EP releases, Singer’s LP material is a minty-fresh blast of alternative rock, pop and indie styles. It’s the sound of someone with restored vigor and gratitude to be doing what he’s doing.
Judging from three singles that are out there – “Emotional,” “Giving Up” and “Breaker Box” – this new era of songwriting might be just what Singer needed to hit that next level. He’s infinitely relatable here. “We try to keep things interesting,” Singer said, adding that another new song, “Important,” is on his current set list.If an authentic connection, anthemic songs and dynamic live performance without all the artifice is your bag, Singer’s got you.
