THREE Luzon provinces have remained under Signal No.

1 as Tropical Depression 'Amang' is forecast to weaken into a low pressure area within the day, the Philippine Atmospheric,Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.Pagasa, in its 8 a.m. bulletin, said the storm alert is still up over the northern and western portions of Camarines Norte , the southern portion of Aurora and the northern and eastern portions of Quezon , including Pollilo Islands.

The tropical depression has maximum sustained winds of 45kph near the center and gustiness of up to 55kph, the state-run weather agency said.Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Laguna, Quezon, Rizal, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Aurora will experience rains with gusty winds within the next 24-hour period, the Pagasa bulletin said.
