A mother and daughter were shot in a Bronx bodega moments after a woman was shot walking her dog. Police say the incidents appear linked.
CROTONA, Bronx -- A woman and her 13-year-old daughter were shot inside a Bronx bodega just moments after another woman was shot walking her dog blocks away, and authorities believe the incidents are linked.
Both were taken to Jacobi Hospital and are expected to recover, but their survival was measured in millimeters. As workers taped over a bullet hole in the bodega, some neighbors questioned how safe it is to live there.Another resident recently lost someone close to her to gun violence. Swahili Kimmins says people need to start speaking up.
