MANILA, Philippines: Three more bodies were recovered from the landslide that struck a mining village in the town of Maco in Davao de Oro on February 6.

The bodies of two male and a female were located by a highly-trained dog of the Philippine Coast Guard K9 Search and Rescue Unit.According to the Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao, Coast Guard Working Dog Appa also located a body part of an unidentified individual during the ongoing search and retrieval operations.

Meanwhile, a 2-month-old boy and a 3-year-old girl from Zone 1 in the village of Masara, were rescued by the Philippine Red Cross Rescue Team three days after the landslide.The two were immediately taken to the Doctors Community Hospital in Mawab by the PRC Emergency Medical Services team.PRC Chairman Richard Gordon said the PRC team will continuously work to help the people in the area.The number of people missing and feared buried rose from 49 to 110.
