The Metropolitan Police Department said following a D.C. Superior Court custody order, a 13-year-old girl was charged with second-degree murder on Thursday. The other two teens, another 13-year-old and 12-year-old girl, were arrested and charged with second-degree murder on Friday.Reggie was a person who stayed to himself. Never bothered anyone was well known in the community as he grew up in the Brightwood neighborhood for 64yrs.
Brown's murder did not happen in ANC Commissioner Kathy Henderson's ward, but she has long called for more deterrents to juvenile crime. Does the new omnibus public safety bill have any measures allowing children younger than 15 or 16 to be given more serious penalties for crimes like murder?
