Drivers detained on suspicion of DWI after crashing into police car, fire truck on Southwest Freeway
The initial crash occurred at 1:19 a.m. on U.S. 59 and Buffalo Speedway, police said.
Three drivers were detained on suspicion of DWI after crashes involving Houston police and fire vehicles on the Southwest Freeway on Saturday, Nov. 12.A marked Houston police car was driving on the Southwest Freeway going inbound when they were involved in a three-car crash. The police car was side-swiped, however, it only suffered minor damage to a tire, according to authorities.
