A woman made a distressed 911 call early Friday, leading police to find three people dead in an apparent-murder suicide at a home in Meyerland. Dispatchers around 12 a.m. received the call from a home in the 5600 block of Indigo Street and heard gunshots as the woman spoke, Lt. Ronnie Willkens, of the Houston Police Department, told Metro Video Services reporters. Officers rushed to the address and forced open the front door, where they found three bodies. Two bodies were a man and woman, both in their 60s, Willkens said. The third person appeared to be a teenage boy.
Detectives were talking with neighbors and investigating what might have happened, but early signs are that a man shot his wife and son before turning the gun on himself, Willkens said.
