Analyst reiterates his Buy ratings for Analog Devices, Marvell Technology, and Xilinx citing their exposure to the 5G infrastructure build trend.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has its highest conviction on these three semiconductor stocks: Analog Devices , Marvell Technology , and Xilinx .

“We expect infrastructure vendors to benefit earlier and in a more profitable way relative to 5G smartphone vendors,” he wrote. “As such, we prefer XLNX, ADI and MRVL who supply to base station vendors, relative to radio frequency chip stocks who may trade at lower multiples but remain exposed to Apple’s mature product cycle.”

“The Marvell 5G platform enables operators to rapidly develop systems that can be adapted according to the architectural needs,” he wrote.
