Three Chinese nationals were arrested by police on Friday, March 17, for allegedly detaining a fellow citizen in Barangay Tambo,Col. The suspects were arrested around 6:50 a.m. at JCAL Building 4949 on C. Santos Street in Barangay Tambo,Ocampo said that prior to the rescue operation, a female friend of the victim, identified as Sun Shuangshuang, 29, sought police assistance, claiming that Hao was illegally detained by the suspects.
Ocampo added that police immediately conducted the rescue operation, leading to the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of the victim. Police said the suspects detained the victim because of reported issues relating to unpaid debts.
