A 17-year-old boy has died from his injuries in the crash, which occurred Sunday in Akron's Middlebury neighborhood.

The crash occurred at about 6:12 p.m. at the intersection of Case and East Market streets, police say. The three males reportedly were in a white Saturn that was going south on Case Avenue at a high rate of speed. The Saturn ran a red light and struck a Chevy Cruze that was making a left turn north onto Case from East Market Street.
