A second man has died from a shooting in Pleasant Hill on Tuesday that police say was prompted by an attempted robbery that led to the suspect and victim shooting each other.
One man is dead and another is in a critical condition following a shooting in Pleasant Hill, police said on Tuesday. No arrests have been made.
Police found two men with multiple gunshot wounds. Both were taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek where one, 63-year-old Peter Popovich of Pleasant Hill, died Tuesday.The second man, identified as 21-year-old resident San Pablo resident Trevon Davis, later also died of his injuries, police said Wednesday.
