NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio - The 27-year-old man involved in a gunfire exchange with North Olmsted police officers died, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office
Officers received a call from a woman saying someone approached her and said someone was trying to kill his uncle, Wagner says. The officer, who has been a member of the North Olmsted Police Department since Aug. 2021, was treated and released from the hospital after being shot, Wagner says.The 27-year-old, identified as Thomas Nock, of Elyria, was transported to Fairview Hospital. He died at 12:53 a.m. on Nov. 5.
