KUALA LUMPUR: Twenty-six districts remain as Covid-19 red zones in the country with the number of positive cases in Lembah Pantai recording an increase of nearly 500, according to the health ministry Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre .
It said a total of 496 Covid-19 positive cases were recorded in the Lembah Pantai district as of noon yesterday, from 459 cases the previous day.The red zone category is for areas with more than 41 Covid-19 positive cases, orange zone , yellow zone and green zone for areas without any case.Meanwhile, the World Health Organization has ranked Malaysia at number 34 in a list of countries affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
