PETALING JAYA: New Covid-19 cases outpaced recoveries, with 25 cases detected in the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of cases to 9,063.

Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said of the 25 new cases, 16 were local transmissions, including 15 involving Malaysians.No new deaths were recorded and the death toll remains at 125.
