A couple in Massachusetts died Thursday after their adult daughter declared she had shot her parents, according to authorities.

Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan said police received a 911 call just after 9 a.m. from a Bedford resident saying a woman told them she had just shot her parents.'The woman went outside, located a car on an adjacent lawn, and inside that car was a 56-year-old woman, also a Bedford resident, who was pronounced dead on the scene, and a 56-year-old man who was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries,' Ryan said.

Cavallaro then got into the backseat of her parents' car and shot them both in the backs of their heads, according to court documents. A short while later, Cavallaro went back into the home declaring, 'I just shot my parents,' her boyfriend's father told police, according to court documents. He then called 911. Cavallaro got the gun from her boyfriend's safe, according to court documents.
