KotaKinabalu Sebanyak 24 kes penipuan pembelian pelitup muka dan cecair basmi kuman dilaporkan di Sabah sejak Februari lalu dengan kerugian RM147,329.74.
Ketua Polis Daerah Kota Kinabalu, Asisten Komisioner Habibi Majinji berkata, kes dikendalikan Bahagian Siasatan Jenayah Komersil, Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Kota Kinabalu.
"Selepas menghubungi iklan berkenaan, mangsa diarahkan membuat pembayaran kepada akaun yang diberikan, namun selepas bayaran dibuat, nombor individu terbabit terus gagal dihubungi," katanya dalam kenyataan media, hari ini. Sementara itu, Habibi berkata, setakat ini pihaknya sudah berjaya menahan lapan individu yang dipercayai terbabit dengan penipuan itu dan menuduh semua mereka di mahkamah.
