237 Covid-19 fake news cases under probe, says Ismail Sabri

THE police and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission have opened 237 investigation papers into cases of fake news about the Covid-19 virus, said Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The senior minister said today 169 cases are still under investigation while 24 cases have been brought to court, with 13 individuals pleading guilty and 11 given warnings.
