देशभर में एससी-एसटी आरक्षण में क्रीमलेयर लागू करने के सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले के विरोध में आज विभिन्न संगठन 'भारत बंद' के समर्थन में सड़कों पर उतरे. इस बंद को कई राजनीतिक दलों का समर्थन मिला, जबकि कुछ दलों ने इसका विरोध किया.
केंद्रीय मंत्री जीतन राम मांझी ने इस बंद का समर्थन न करने की घोषणा की. उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि कुछ संपन्न दलित अपने स्वार्थ के लिए आरक्षण के खिलाफ झूठी बातें फैला रहे हैं. मांझी का कहना है कि कुछ लोग
