210 Sports Cantina and Grill was reported to have had a bar fight that escalated to a shooting where a man was killed. 210 Sports Cantina and Grill was reported to have had a bar fight that escalated to a shooting where a man was killed.The San Antonio Police shared that they responded to the bar on Southwest Military Dr. just after 2 a.m. on March 14. First responders found Joshua Cuellar, 34, in the parking lot with a gunshot wound.
Authorities share that after the bar closed at 2 a.m., a fight broke out in the parking lot. Shots were fired and Cuellar was struck in the chest and died at the scene. Cuellar's brother shared that he's frustrated that no arrests have been made and after his brother's senseless murder, he hoped that the bar would shut down.The bar owner confirmed that the bar is closed but declined to give a reason why.
Since the beginning of 2023, police have received 64 calls of service for the 210 Cantina and Grill sports bar. Nearly half have been for fights, disturbances, and assaults.
