Fifth-generation X5 arrives a year after the Neue Klasse iX3, and both EV and ICE versions should ride on latest Neue Klasse platform
The 2027 BMW X5 has been spied testing in prototype form in Munich. Fifth iteration of the SUV features Mustang Mach-e-style door pulls on the pillars instead of traditional handles. Exhaust tailpipes tucked under the bumper tell us this one has combustion powertrain, but there’ll be EV versions, too.
