Genesis has revealed the updated ICE and EV versions of the GV70 SUV for model year 2026. Both the gas and electric versions were revealed at the LA Auto Show.
The Genesis GV70 is the South Korean luxury brand’s best-seller in the U.S. — and while it still looks great, as it's been on sale for four model years, which means it's time for an update. On Wednesday, November 20th, Genesis revealed the 2026 GV70 and Electrified GV70 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, marking both models’ first big refreshes. Genesis ’s gas-powered 2026 GV70 carries on with its 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder making 300 horsepower as standard, and an optional 3.
The GV70 Electrified also has a new charge port door that’s electrically powered, heated for easier use in winter and featuring a light. Fresh 19-inch and 21-inch wheels are available, and the rear lights are tweaked to stay consistent with Genesis’ signature two-line styling.Genesis suggests the GV70’s ride should be improved for 2026, too, as it’s introduced the company’s Highway Body Motion Control system that better controls the adaptive dampers when accelerating or decelerating.
