Here's an early mock draft roundup as the Eagles hold the No. 23 pick in April.

Dave Zangaro breaks down the significance of defensive backs coach Christian Parker being hired as the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator on Thursday. The Eagles’ season ended earlier this month in disappointing fashion in the wild-card round, so it’s time to look into the future.

Free agency will kick off in March and then the draft happens in late April. The Eagles are locked into the No. 23 spot in the first round, while the final two spots will of the first round will be decided in the Super Bowl but the rest is set. With about a month to go before the Combine and with three months to go before the draft, plenty can change. “Philadelphia may allow Dallas Goedert to leave in free agency, creating a significant void at tight end. The Eagles could look to fill that need with the uber-athletic Kenyon Sadiq. Sadiq’s 560 receiving yards ranked eighth among FBS tight ends this season, and he led the position with eight touchdown receptions.”“Dallas Goedert is hitting free agency and Sadiq could make sense as his heir in the Eagles offense. Sadiq is a vertical threat and a willing blocker with plenty of runway to improve. He'll be a 21-year-old rookie.”The Eagles were lucky they were able to figure out a way to get Dallas Goedert back for the 2025 season. For a while last offseason, it looked like that wasn’t going to happen. And as he’s set to hit free agency again, the future of the tight end position is up in the air. Howie Roseman hasn’t drafted a tight end since he took Grant Calcaterra in the sixth round of the 2022 draft; Calcaterra will also be a free agent this offseason. Roseman has drafted two tight ends in the second round but has never drafted one in the first round. The Eagles’ last first-round tight end was Keith Jackson in 1988. Sadiq would check a lot of boxes. He’s a young and athletic player at a position of need. He also offers ability as a receiver and a run blocker, making him a dual threat. Earlier in his career, that’s what made Goedert such a key player.“Philadelphia could go a lot of directions, especially if it moves on from wide receiver A.J. Brown this offseason. But one spot that has received a lot of attention is actually on defense. The Eagles tried to fix the CB2 position opposite Quinyon Mitchell with trades for Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter II, but neither move did the trick. Carter barely played down the stretch, and Alexander stepped away from football in mid-November. Terrell, though, would be a reliable answer. He broke up nine passes and forced five -- yes, five -- fumbles in 2025. He's terrific in man coverage, and coordinator Vic Fangio had his defense in man 55% of the time this season, third most in the NFL.”“Terrell teams up with Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell to give the Eagles the best young secondary in the NFL. The former Clemson Tiger can play inside or outside.”It’s interesting that two of the big dogs in the mock draft game put Terrell to the Eagles. The Eagles tried all season to upgrade the CB2 position and eventually Adoree’ Jackson played much better. But Jackson is 30 now and a free agent and the Eagles could look for a better fix. Terrell’s flexibility would give the Eagles the option to play Cooper DeJean either inside or outside going forward. Of course, this would be a third very high pick on the same position within a three-year span.“At 6-7, 360, Proctor is a massive blocker with unique talent, which is exactly what the Eagles and offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland target up front. With Landon Dickerson’s future in doubt, and given Tyler Steen’s inconsistent play, Proctor would provide immediate competition at guard and a long-term option at tackle.”It’s a little hard to believe but the Eagles haven’t drafted an offensive lineman in the first round since they took Andre Dillard at No. 22 back in 2019. They have selected Landon Dickerson and Cam Jurgens in the second round and Tyler Steen in the third. I like the idea of drafting a big body offensive lineman with the ability to play both guard and tackle because it could fill a short-term and long-term need for this team. It’s a good point from Brugler about Dickerson’s future after all his injuries this season. The Eagles’ interior offensive line this season just simply wasn’t the same. And we’ll have to see if Lane Johnson comes back for a 14th season. Either way, it’s time for the Eagles to start looking for his replacement.“It appears inevitable that the Philadelphia Eagles and A.J. Brown are parting ways at some point during the offseason. And if that’s the case, the Eagles will have to try to fill that void in some capacity. KC Concepcion is a versatile-alignment receiver who can work all three levels of the field. Although he has a different body profile, he brings electric playmaking ability to his game and should pair well with DeVonta Smith.”The A.J. Brown situation is going to hover over the Eagles all offseason but it definitely seems possible he has played his last game with the Birds. That’s a shame if it’s the case, but if it is, the Eagles need to bolster the position. They bring back DeVonta Smith, Darius Cooper and not much else. Smith was the last receiver the Eagles drafted in the first round back in 2021. Concepcion began his career at NC State but then played at A&M in 2025. He caught 61 passes for 919 yards and 9 touchdowns. Drops were a concern in college but Concepcion showed a ton of ability after the catch and was a big-time punt returner, taking two to the house in 2025.
