CLEVELAND, Ohio -The Stark County Traffic Fatality Review Committee has put out what it calls a concerning rise in the number of crash deaths in 2025.In the 31 crashes last year 33 people were killed.
“These numbers represent more than statistics—they represent families forever changed,” said Stark County Sheriff’s Office Safe Communities Coordinator Laura Miller. Looking at trends, authorities can try to identify areas where tougher enforcement or public education needs to be increased.Alcohol use was a contributing factor in 7 of the crashes“Every one of us has the power to prevent tragedies on our roads,” Miller said. “Whether you’re driving, walking, or biking, the choices you make can save a life.
