The new Elroq will be sold with more than 348 miles (560 km) of range in flagship guise
Skoda will sell the Elroq with 55 kWh, 63 kWh, and 82 kWh batteries. Most versions are rear-wheel drive but the flagship version has all-wheel drive. The EV supports DC charging at speeds of up to 175 kW. This is our best look yet at the latest addition to Skoda ’s range of EVs. The new model, called the Elroq, is a compact SUV and the first Skoda to adopt the brand’s new Modern Solid design language.
” They will be offered in sizes ranging from 19 inches to 20 inches and contribute to an overall drag coefficient of 0.26. The VW Group’s familiar MEB platform underpins the model, and Skoda will sell it in Elroq 50, 60, 85, and 85x guises. The base model rocks a 55 kWh battery with a 168 hp electric motor on the rear axle, while the Elroq 60 has been fitted with a larger 63 kWh pack and a 201 hp motor, also at the rear wheels. Both versions will do 99 mph .
