Based on the recent rumors and smokescreens, a new mock draft is needed.suggesting that the Titans would be open to trading the first overall pick or staying put and taking a generational talent. In this scenario, Tennessee would end up with generational edge rusher Abdul Carter.contract is one of the worst in NFL history due to the amount of guaranteed money on the deal. Even though the team restructured his contract, he’s still a $72 million cap hit in 2025 and 2026. Cleveland could look to start fresh at quarterback with Cam Ward and eat Watson’s contract after next season. The Giants have been the subject of the rumor mill over the last couple of weeks, and the name surrounding them has been quarterback Matthew Stafford. On Feb. 22, the Rams officially gave Stafford permission toelsewhere. In this mock, the Giants acquire Stafford from the Rams and draft Travis Hunter in the first round to give their new quarterback a two-way playmaker. With multiple offensive line combinations in 2024, the Patriots must keep their young quarterback, Drake Maye, off the sideline and in the game. Will Campbell would be a massive upgrade in the trenches.Mason Graham is one of the cleanest and NFL-ready prospects in this class. For a defense in Jacksonville that ranked 24th in rushing yards allowed and 29th in sack percentage, Graham is a perfect fit for the Jaguars. The Raiders had a revolving door at quarterback in 2024, and new head coach Pete Carroll isn’t getting any younger. Drafting a franchise quarterback would completely change this team’s offense.he’s not realistically a first-round quarterback…not yet, at least. The best player on the board at this spot would be Tetairoa McMillan, who would join an offense that lacks playmakers outside of Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall. One year after trading Brian Burnes to the Giants, the Panthers will be in search of a franchise edge rusher. Carolina ranked dead last inThe Saints lack playmakers, and they haven’t had an above-average tight end since Jimmy Graham. Tyler Warren would be the perfect fit as a playmaker and blocker for New Orleans. The 2024 first-overall selection was running for his life behind his offensive line. Caleb Williams is the future of this franchise and needs to stay healthy for them to have a chance at succeeding. Kelvin Banks Jr. can play both tackle and guard, shoring up their offensive line. Will Johnson, a lanky and smart cornerback, would fit perfectly in the secondary of San Francisco. With big-time playmakers in the NFC West, the 49ers will need to hang with some of the league’s best wide receiver talents like D.K. Metcalf, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, and Puka Nacua.met with owner Jerry Jones and informed him that he was retiring. Even though it’ll be a tall task, the Cowboys will need to find a replacement, and Tyler Booker might be the best guard in the class. The Dolphins need help on the interior of their offensive line and with Booker going one pick ahead of them, they get Grey Zabel from North Dakota State, who can play at either of the guard positions, as well as left tackle. Zabel played both right and left guard in 2023 but played all of his snaps at left tackle in 2024.The Colts ranked 26th in passing yards allowed per game and 28th in yards per passing attempt . Adding some talent in the secondary will help them against a team like the Houston Texans, who beat Indianapolis twice, both times by one possession, to prevent them from winning the AFC South.Outside of Drake London and an underwhelming Kyle Pitts, the Falcons offense lacks pass catchers. Luther Burden is a perfect slot receiver and, for a young quarterback in Michael Penix Jr., a high-level safety blanket. The Cardinals ranked 27th in pressure rate , so getting some help off the edge will take pressure off their secondary. Mykel Williams is arguably the best out of the loaded edge rusher draft class. Getting his 6-foot-5 frame with elite speed and power at no. 16 is a steal. The Bengals were 28th in the NFL in total air yards on completions, making cornerback one of, if not their biggest need this offseason. Cincinnati couldn’t stop a nosebleed defensively, and not even an MVP-caliber season from Joe Burrow could save them.Even though the Seahawks were 10th in the NFL in sacks with 45, pairing Mike Green up with Leonard Williams on the other side would wreak havoc on opposing offensive lines. Green had 17 sacks last season at Marshall.Lavonta David, 35, is an upcoming free agent for the Buccaneers this offseason. They’ll need to fill the void in the center of their defense, and Jalon Walker can make plays both in coverage and off the edge. This is a steal at pick no. 19.The Broncos had a revolving door in their backfield a season ago with Javonta Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin, and Audric Esteme. If the 2,600-yard rusher in Ashton Jeanty is available at pick no. 20, Denver would be adding possibly the best player in the draft. Running backs don’t tend to be drafted in the top half of the first round, but in recent memory, halfbacks have gone sooner and sooner.Steelers quarterbacks were pressured 25.3% of the time per dropback a season ago, which ranked 29th in the NFL. Armand Membou, who played against elite-level edge rushers in 2024, gives the Steelers security for whoever ends up under center in 2025.Outside of Ladd McConkey, who broke onto the scene during the second half of the season a year ago, the Chargers lack playmakers, and Justin Herbert needs some help. Omarion Hampton would be a huge, big-play machine in Gregg Roman’s run-heavy offense.Josh Simmons is coming off a knee injury that ended his season, but prior to the injury, he was considered to be one of the better offensive tackle talents in the draft class. Due to the injury he falls in this draft, giving Green Bay an elite pass protector for Jordan Love. With veteran running back Aaron Jones set to hit free agency and considering his injury history, the Vikings may look to move on from Jones and address this need in the draft. TreVeyon Henderson is a dual-threat running back with the ability to beat you on the ground but use his hands to create playmaking opportunities through the air. With Folorunso Fatukasi set to hit free agency, the Texans may need to replace him. Pairing Walter Nolen with a great defensive mind at head coach in DeMeco Ryans may be able to unlock his full potential, considering he struggles with consistency. The power and ability to disrupt ball carriers and quarterbacks is there.likely on the move this offseason, the Rams will need to add a wide receiver for whoever ends up being their quarterback. Matthew Golden is one of the better prospects and has the ability to explode off the line of scrimmage and make plays for Los Angeles.Lamar Jackson is Baltimore’s ticket to the Super Bowl. Keeping Derrick Henry healthy for the playoffs will increase their chances of getting to the big game as well. Josh Conerly Jr. out of Oregon can have a positive impact in both the running and passing game.If Nic Scourton’s potential is unlocked, pairing him with Adain Hutchinson would be a dangerous edge-rush duo for years to come.Terry McLaurin has been the lone receiver in Washington’s wide receiver room for a very long time. Adding Emeka Egbuka out of Ohio State for Jayden Daniels could take this already explosive offense to another level. When Christian Benford left the AFC Championship game with an injury, Kaiir Elam got exposed against the Chiefs, leaving cornerback as arguably their biggest need. Getting Azareye’h Thomas, a potential plug-and-play starter on Day 1, would be a massive upgrade over Elam.is set to return to the Kansas City Chiefs this season, but it’s possible this is his final year. In this scenario, the Chiefs draft Michigan tight end Colston Loveland, a receiver first and blocker second. Loveland’s 6-foot-5 frame and ability to line up as a big slot receiver could learn from one of the greatest tight ends of all time, and if he excels with this opportunity, he could earn himself the starting role in a year or two.The Eagles have a track record of drafting Georgia Bulldogs that fall in the draft. Malaki Starks fits that characteristic and will be a dynamic, playmaking safety in the back end of Philadelphia’s secondary.2025 NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Deshaun Watson’s injury means Giants lose out on top QBsCoast Guard suspends search for missing Bronx man after boat capsizes off the RockawaysNYC’S HOUSING CRISIS: Breaking down what the city is doing, and not doing, to make housing affordableDedniel Nunez latest: Mets reliever not close to seeing game actionFocacceria closes abruptly after 121 years in Carroll GardensLower Manhattan subway slashing: Perp attacked man during fight over seat, cops say
