Kia's refreshed MPV features updated styling both inside and out, along with a new hybrid powertrain that achieves 33 mpg
Kia has released new pictures and details about the facelifted Carnival, ahead of its launch in South Korea later this month. Starting outside, the minivan adopts a fresh Opposites United design that “combines refined sophistication and SUV-like strength.” The biggest changes occur up front, where the Carnival has a larger grille and a more upright fascia. They're joined by new headlights, which sport a vertical design as well as “Star Map” daytime running lights.
Kia also noted the model now has expanded ambient lighting, a fingerprint authentication system, and a UV-C sterilization box in the center console. Other highlights include an 11-inch head-up display, an Ergo Motion driver’s seat, and a modernized infotainment system that supports over-the-air updates as well as the “Hey Kia” wake word.
