Infiniti is kicking off their product renaissance with the unveiling the redesigned QX80. It’s a fitting choice as the SUV serves as both the brand’s flagship and a window into its future direction. The new generation of the full-size luxury SUV, codenamed Z63, couldn't come soon enough, as the current model has been on the market for a staggering 14 years, first introduced in 2010 and having received two facelifts in 2015 and 2018.
While the system sounds a little gimmicky, Infiniti said testing has shown passengers can get to a comfortable temperature in 50% less time. There’s also new Front Wide View that uses cameras to provide a 170-degree view of the vehicle's surroundings on the 14.3-inch displays. There’s also an Invisible Hood View, which shows video of what’s directly in front of the vehicle “as if one could see right through the engine bay.
