While Ford is also dropping four other Bronco trims, it's making up for it with additional standard content across the board, plus a cool new factory matte body wrap option for buyers looking for less-shiny Broncos.Ford has made changes to the 2025 Bronco pricing with the biggest change being the range-topping Bronco Raptor dropping in price by nearly $10,000, while the Base trim's MSRP increases by over $1,000. Ford is saying the 2025 Ford Bronco Base trim is a "late availability" model, so it won't appear initially in the 2025 production run. The Bronco Base will come as both a two-door and four-door with the shorty Bronc coming with a Molded-in-Color top in Carbonized Gray. The four-door will only come with the soft black cloth top. Either version will come with 16-inch steel wheels with 255/70R16 all-season tires, including the full-size spare. Other exterior standard features will include a black MIC grille with white “Bronco” lettering and active grille shutters, black MIC bumpers, door handles, fender flares, LED headlights, and two tow hooks.Mechanically, the Base will come with the 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost I-4 mated to a seven-speed manual transmission with a part-time selectable transfer case. The manual will alsocrank in gear, and hill descent control functions. For those who’d rather let the Bronco do the shifting, the 10-speed auto is optional and will include Trail Control and Trail Turn Assist. The suspension is based on the High-speed Off-road Suspension System 1.0, the most basic suspension system you can get in the 2025 Ford Bronco. Inside, the Bronco Base will come with single-zone air conditioning , a 12-inch digital instrument cluster , six-way manual front seats wrapped in cloth, and split rear seats with the two-door splitting 50/50 and the four-door splitting 60/40. The stereo option will also be a 12-inch infotainment with FordPass connect that’s capable of 4G LTE hotspot connection via AT&T. You’ll get three months or 3GB of hotspot use free and then you’ll need to pay for the connection.and that returns for 2025. This package comes with a set of 17-inch beadlock capable wheels with 35-inch Rugged-Terrain tires. This is backed up with a set of high-clearance fenders and equally high-clearance suspension with position-sensitive Bilstein dampers. Sure, it’s not the Fox Internal Bypass dampers, but it’s still a great upgrade over the standard dampers. It will also come with electronic locking differentials front and rear with a 4.7:1 gear ratio. It will also come from the factory with tube steps installed. For those hoping to get in the 2025 Ford Raptor, but its original 2025 price of $91,930 was just too much to stomach, boy, do we have some great news for you. Maybe. This latest pricing update drops the entry price of the ultimate off-roading Bronco by $9,940 for a new MSRP of $81,990. The “maybe” part will depend on how your dealer likes to honor the MSRP and not gouge you with “special fees.” The 2025 Bronco Badlands also sees a price drop, but not nearly as dramatic thanks to only reducing its MSRP by $900. Still, a drop in price is a win regardless of if it’s under $1,000. But where Ford giveth, Ford also taketh away. While not necessarily due to Ford bringing the Bronco Base back for 2025, there will be four fewer trims available. The Black Diamond, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Heritage Limited Edition are all gone for 2025. According to Ford,of the Wildtrak, but we’re unsure of the production volume of the Stroppe Special and so we’ll count this as a loss for the time being. Ford also has dropped the two-door versions of the Big Bend and Heritage models, meaning the only two-door Broncos available are Base, Badlands, and Stroppe Edition variants. Therefore, for 2025, the Base Bronco will be one of five additional trims not mentioned so far. Those five will be the Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, Raptor, and Heritage Edition . The hoop step is also now a dealer installed option on the Big Bend series where it was once a factory-installed option, the wireless charging pad is deleted from the High/Lux package. Other new option packages include the very cool, as well as a new Black Appearance package; they're available on select trims, though the matte paint wrap is offered on every Bronco model. There’s also more bad news on the pricing front with this latest update. While the Raptor and Badlands have decreased in price, the rest of the 2025 Bronco lineup increases with the largest being the Bronco Base at $1,100 more than it was in May.
