It'd frankly be madness to expand the Corvette line to anythingthan an SUV, at least at first. Oh, and we're calling this hypothetical vehicle the Corvette ZUV, because marketing departmentsSo, what would this Corvette-UV look like? As we've seen stark evidence of,"SUV" can mean a lot of things.

The most surprising thing? That some of these look damn good. Ultimately, General Motors will make the call about what a Corvette SUV might look like, but we see a lot of AI-generated ideas here that blend sports car and SUV better that you might imagine.The image on the first slide is the closest to the enthusiast fantasy of a Corvette SUV—barely a crossover, more of a Corvette shooting brake—and it of course is the least likely to actually happen.

This SUV has lots of muscle, nice sporty creases, and enough Corvette in the headlights to sell the fiction that it's somehow related to a C8. Of all the variations the AI spit out, this one struck us as being plausible, perhaps even a desirable outcome. And we bet it'd be a hell of a performer, too ... look at those meaty tires.
