The facelifted version of the Audi RS3 still makes 400 hp from the turbocharged 2.5-liter TFSI five-cylinder engine
A prototype of the facelifted Audi RS3 set a new lap record for compact cars at the Nurburgring . At 7:33.123 minutes, it's over 5 seconds faster than the previous record held by the BMW M2 Coupe. Audi will officially unveil the facelifted RS3 in both sedan and hatch forms on August 20, 2024. Audi teased the facelifted RS3 in the best possible way—with a new lap record. A lightly camouflaged prototype of the Audi RS3 sedan circled the Nurburgring in 7:33.
Audi emphasizes 'optimized cornering behavior,' enhancing the RS3's agility. Key features include fully variable torque distribution between the rear wheels, a brake torque vectoring system, RS sport suspension with optional adaptive dampers, 19-inch ceramic brakes, and an advanced algorithm for the driving dynamics controller. The prototype achieved its record lap on Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R semi-slick tires. https://youtu.
