2024 Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder RS Spied, Will Borrow Heavily From The 718 Cayman GT4 RS | Carscoops carscoops
. It features a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 493 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque. The boxer engine is connected to a seven-speed PDK transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels via a mechanically locking rear differential. This setup enables the coupe to rocket from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 196 mph .
Of course, it’s worth noting the 718 Boxster Spyder RS looks less aggressive than the 718 Cayman GT4 RS as it eschews NACA ducts, front fender vents, and a massive rear wing. As a result, the roadster will likely be less extreme than the track-focused coupe. While a number of questions remain, early speculation suggests the 718 Boxster Spyder RS could arrive next year, presumably as a 2024 model.
