Long Range Dual Motor is good for an impressive 360 kW and 840 Nm of torque while the optional Performance Pack ups this to 380 kW and 910 Nm of torque.Given the premium pricing of the Polestar 3, it comes as no surprise that it is absolutely loaded with heaps of impressive features as standard. These include air suspension, retractable door handles with proximity sensors, a full-length panoramic glass roof, and 21-inch alloy wheels.
The most intriguing option available is the Pilot Pack. It adds a LiDAR sensor, an additional Nvidia control unit, three cameras, four ultrasonic sensors, and a cleaning system for the front and rear cameras, all used to enhance the vehicle’s 3D-mapping technology to prepare it for advanced autonomous driving.
“Polestar 3 is a highly anticipated addition to the Polestar range in this market,” Polestar Australia boss Samantha Johnson noted. “Last year, SUVs represented 53% of new vehicle sales in Australia, a tally that has more than doubled since 2010.
