It's seemingly finally happening! The Ranger Raptor was spied on a production line in Michigan.
, confirming the overseas Ranger Raptor has indeed given us a good glimpse at the version we're getting. From the big, bulgy fenders, black arch extensions,"FORD" logo grille, to the twin-exit exhaust pipes, the Ranger Raptor is shaping up to be everything our U.S. market wants and expects. Furthermore, it alludes to our"normal" Ranger, which we haven't officially seen. This resemblance makes sense, considering the new global Ranger was designed with the U.S.
Expect full-time four-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, selectable terrain modes, and front and rear diff lockers. We have reason to believe the suspension components will be similar to the overseas model: aluminum control arms up front, live axle with a Watt's link in the rear, and Fox 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shocks.
