Review: The E-Ray boasts more-than-ample space and comfort for both the driver and passenger
Published: Aug. 17, 2024, 9:14 a.m.It’s as good as it gets in Grasso’s Garage: Here comes the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray. Chevrolet’s recent release of the hybrid pairing, ground-pounding convertible option, that now displays mid-engine power and supercar-like curvatures.
The 1.9 kWh lithium-ion self-charging battery afforded great energy to the front wheels and delivered maximum responsiveness, efficiency and performance. Torque for the E-Ray came in at 595 lb-ft as the electric motor added an additional 125 on its own. Transmission selected for the E-Ray was an 8-speed dual clutch. Our 0-to-60 test came in at an impressive 2.5 seconds.
