Might as well go out with a proverbial bang, right? Dodge is definitely hewing to that notion and celebrating its V-8-powered sleds while it can at the same time. The downside: The Dodge Challenge and Charger as we know them—the ones with Hemi V-8s under the hood—are going away by 2024.
Inside, the black Nappa leather and Alcantara seats, instrument panel, console, and steering wheel proudly wear angry red accent stitching, capped off by Demonic Red seatbelts. There'll be a"Shakedown" badge on the instrument panel. The feature-heavy Shakedowns will have elements from the Plus Group, Technology Group, Navigation, Carbon/Suede and Dynamics Package .
Dodge says it will only make 1,000 Challenger Shakedown special-edition models, 500 of which will be Destroyer Grey R/T Scat Packs and 500 others being Pitch Black R/T Scat Pack Widebodies. It'll be sought-after no matter where it falls on the coolness scale, predictably along with all other 2023 Dodge Challenger and Chargers.
There's more in store for the"Last Call" 2023 lineup than the special editions. Three heritage colors return: B5 Blue, Plum Crazy Purple and Sublime Green, along with the modern Destroyer Grey. There will be a total of 14 exterior color options for the 2023 Charger and Challenger. New"345" fender badging, the aforementioned"Last Call" underhood plaque,
