🎾 The 2022 U.S. Open is upon us, so let’s rewind and take a look back at some past winners and records from men at the annual tennis escapade.

The Australian Open, the French Open and Wimbledon are behind us and we all know what that means – it’s time for the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the year: The U.S. Open.

The annual tournament debuted in 1881 for men and 1887 for women, and in 1978, the matches began to be held at the one and only USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. Once 1987 hit, the tournament officially became the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the year for tennis. And that’s where the magic began.
