The cabin of the Mazda CX-60 is designed after the Japanese concept of Ma, described as the beauty of empty space
The CX-60 will incorporate the latest evolution of Mazda’s Kodo design philosophy combined with the Japanese concept of Ma which is “the calm and dignified beauty of empty space” and the ideas of Kaichô described as “the harmony that comes from mixing different materials and textures”.In that context, the interior of the CX-60 is minimalistic, with interesting details on the fabric upholstery communicating the Japanese craftsmanship.
Mazda has confirmed that the CX-60 will be its first PHEV with a combined output of over 300 hp . The SUV is also expected to be offered with the new family of straight-six Skyactiv-X and Skyactive-D engines with 48V mild-hybrid systems.. The CX-60 five-seater and CX-80 seven-seater will be sold in Europe and Japan, while the wider CX-70 and CX-90 will be available in North America.
